Thank you for visiting our Website. I am very excited you chose to give our church a closer look. It is my hope that you will find our website user friendly and easy to navigate. Thank you again for giving us a visit.
As a five year old boy, I accept the Lord Jesus Christ as my personal Saviour at a family alter. Words cannot express my gratitude for being raised in a christian home and being exposed to Christ at a young age. At the age of twelve, God called me to preach at Texoma Baptist Youth Camp. Since God's calling on my life, I have been preaching and wholeheartedly pursuing Christ perfect will for my life. While in junior high and high school the Lord allowed me the opportunity to commence and operate a Bible Study. Through this ministry dozens were saved, and several other teenagers were encouraged to start similar clubs in their public schools. It was at these Bible Studies, God allowed me to 'get my feet wet' at preaching. Upon graduation from High School I had the opportunity to spend a month in Tanzania, Africa. I had always had a heart for missions, but God used this trip to give me a burden and passion. For the next four years I attended Heartland Baptist Bible College in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and was a member at Southwest Baptist Church. Bible college was one of the greatest experiences of my life, and I thank God for allowing me to go. One week after graduating college, my wife Evie and I were married. Two weeks later we were on staff at First Baptist Church of Cottondale in Paradise, Texas as the associate / youth pastor. We spend four years at FBC Cottondale, and made many friendships that will last a lifetime. During our final two years, God allowed us to work with the young couples of the church, and our class grew tremendously. We were sad to leave Cottondale, but could see the Lord's hand clearly moving us to Kaufman. We are overjoyed to be here, and are overwhelmed at what God has already done, and is continuing to do. Faith Baptist Church is a place full of compassionate friendly people who love God and their community. Our church is a place where truth is preached and God is working. Will you consider coming and being a part of what God is doing here?
